Advanced Hypnotherapy and Neurolinguistic Programming
The combination of these techniques utilises the subconscious mind to produce fast and effective changes in behaviour. They can release mental blocks which are preventing change and promote changes in belief systems utilising powerful internal resources and anchoring positive change. It is a very effective and powerful method of achieving the outcomes that you desire.

What is Hypnosis?
We have all been in a trance at one time or another in our normal everyday lives, either being unable to remember parts or a familiar journey, being engrossed in a book or a film or drifting off into a daydream – these are all trances. Hypnosis utilises the ability of our minds to enter a trace state which is a focused and relaxed form of concentration. When we are in a hypnotic trance both the mind and body are extremely relaxed however the unconscious mind is still functioning fully and is very receptive to positive suggestions. In this state hypnosis can work directly with the unconscious mind to bring about the positive changes in behaviour that are desired. This means that the conscious mind which can inhibit change by being too analytical is bypassed. Our subconscious minds are where habit patterns are stored along with all our memories, emotions and behaviours. The result is that by working with the subconscious directly through hypnosis change can take place quickly and effectively.
During hypnosis the brain wave activity is altered. When we are awake we have beta brain wave patterns and when we are drifting off to sleep the patterns change to alpha wave patterns. In deeper sleep the patterns change again to delta and theta. During hypnosis the wave patterns are alpha which is a very comfortable, relaxed and dreamy state, however everyone experiences this state in a slightly different manner and you may not feel as if you are “hypnotised”. In this very pleasant state we are open to visualisations and other sensory experiences and it is through these experiences that the changes that are desired take place.
 
What is Neurolinguistic programming?
NLP is basically the way that people think and act, how we organise our thoughts and our memories, how we view the world along with our perceptions and beliefs. NLP has been described as an owners manual for the brain and has been regarded as one of the most significant breakthroughs in behavioural science in recent history.
NLP can give you an opportunity to make significant changes in your behavioural patterns.
The combination of these techniques can give powerful, effective and rapid results that can change your life.

Coaching sessions are a confidential conversation, over time building a plan of action to get you to the lifestyle you want to lead.  All coaching sessions are client orientated, and tailored to your requirements - you decide which life areas to work on, and the outcome you desire.  Dont be put off Life Coaching - Its not as formal as it sounds (or as expensive), its basically like having an honest, motivated, good friend who will work on issues with your best interests in mind.
 
Hypnotherapy For Fertility
Trying for a baby without success can be heartbreaking and stressful, especially when invasive proceedures have also failed to produce results.  Hypnotherapy can help with the stress associated with infertility as well as utilising the mind body connection and releasing blocks preventing pregnancy.
 
WOW - Walk Off Weight groups
Wow groups are held at various locations.  It is a 10 week  walking programme aimed at anyone who wants to lose weight - it includes coaching, hypnotherapy and fresh air!
 
Children and Teenagers
I welcome both children (over age 8) and teenagers to my practice - the most common problems being eating issues, concentration and lack of motivation, but of course, children can have as many issues as adults can and this list is not exhaustive. Prices
Prices depend on a few factors - what kind of therapy you are looking for, how many sessions you require and whether you require a home visit or a visit to my Practice. A normal Hypnotherapy session costs £70, (£60 for a home visit)  A discounted rate is applied to children and teenagers and NHS staff.  Feel free to email for a complete price list or call 07890 582 444 - and be assured, I wont badger you into making an appointment.
